Recent ROIA updates have added the ability to perform bulk creative imports and the ability to setup and track categories of traffic based on the traffic's referring domain. Additionally, this update also included minor changes to add new abilities to several existing features: scheduled email reports, the payments wizard, A/B testing links, and obtaining publisher creative codes.
Bulk Creatives Import – The ability to bulk import creatives is being added to ROIA, allowing multiple creatives to be easily and quickly added to the system. Imports are done by uploading a CSV file containing columns containing the information needed to build a creative.
Referrer Domain Categories – This new feature is available as part of the referrer domain reporting feature of the Advanced Analytics add-on package. Referral domains can now be categorized within ROIA. These categories can then be viewed in the reporting to see easily see what type of sites your publishers are placing creatives on and which are most successful. Categories can also be used to ignore traffic (traffic won't earn commissions) from any type of websites that you do not want to include in your program, making it a powerful time-saving feature for marketers that are looking to avoid traffic from certain domains. ROIA comes with numerous system defined categories, which are pre-populated with domains based on a third party source. Advertisers are also able to generate their own custom categories, which can include any domains they want.
Scheduled email reports – The scheduled email reporting feature has been updated so that reports can now be sent every X hours (minimum period is every 3 hours), enabling easy access to more current information. Also included in this update is the ability to send reports without placing them in a zip archive first, so devices incapable of handling a zip archive are still able to access reports automatically sent by email.
Payment Module Update – ROIA's publisher payment module has also been updated allowing advertisers to deduct payment processing fees from their publishers' commissions. This provides more flexibility when preparing publisher payments.
Creative A/B Testing – The number of links that can be assigned to a creative for A/B testing landing pages has been raised to 50 links. Additionally, each link can now have its priority weighted, allowing control over which landing pages are used more often.
Creative Code Bulk Export – Publisher encoded creatives can now be obtained with every combination of placements and channels. Using this allows multiple variations of a publisher code to be quickly obtained, making it easier to switch between placements or channels as needed.
ROIA has been updated with three new features, which allow the advertiser to anonymize traffic, add notes to the publisher’s interface, and global pixel echoing.
Anonymizing traffic – ROIA now has the ability to anonymize the source of traffic before redirecting it to the configured landing page. Using this feature, advertising agencies can hide the sources of their traffic before sending that traffic to a third parties site.
Publisher interface notes – When running an affiliate program, communication between the advertiser and their publishers is important. In order to assist in making this process easier, ROIA now allows advertisers to add notes to their publishers’ login interfaces. This enables advertisers to be able to easily communicate with their publishers in more ways to provide additional information, help, or notify them of upcoming changes. Once created the notes are visible to every publisher when the login.
Global echoing – This feature has been added to ROIA’s conversion tracking codes and page trackers. Once enabled this feature allows codes from third party tracking systems to be entered into ROIA and then echoed when the appropriate ROIA tracking code is loaded. Using this makes it easy to integrate ROIA with third party tracking systems, since you only need to place one set of codes on a website and the rest are included every time the page is loaded by being echoed.
Two new reporting features, comprehensive reports and conditional filters, have been added to ROIA to allow more detailed reports to be obtained in less time.
Comprehensive report – Allows complex reports to be generated showing data grouped by multiple objects (publisher, creative, day, etc.) at once. Previously ROIA could only group data by a single object and required the use of drill-downs to see more details about the traffic. The addition of comprehensive reports enables complex reports to be generated quicker and more efficiently.
Conditional filters – When generating a report, ROIA now allows conditional filters to be used to get even more precise results. These filters can be created to only show results that conform to specific statistical traffic levels or contain specific conversion details, eliminating the need to search through the results after the report is generated to find what you are looking for.
ROIA has been updated with several new and improved features including: improved A/B testing with multi-link creatives, assigning a creative to a single publisher, and updated publisher interface options.
Improved A/B Testing Functionality
ROIA's creatives have been updated to allow multiple links to be assigned to a single creative, making it much easier to setup and carry out A/B performance testing for different landing pages. When more than one link is assigned to a creative, ROIA will evenly distribute traffic to each link when the creative is clicked.
Once a creative has more than one link assigned to it, you can use ROIA's drill-down reporting to see the performance of each link. By drilling-down to the links for a single creative you can see the performance for each link that was assigned to the creative and determine if any outperformed the others.
Assign Creative to Publisher
Another recently added feature is the ability to assign a creative to a publisher. When setting up or modifying a creative, you can assign it to a single publisher. Once this is setup, only the selected publisher will be able to access and use the creative, while the creative will not appear for any other publishers. Using this it is easy to setup a custom creative for a publisher to use.
Updated Publisher Interface Options
ROIA now has separate options to control whether publishers can obtain or view reports for creatives and placements. By separating these two abilities into different options, an advertiser is able to configure the exact features that they want publishers to be able to access.
The ability to email a report to multiple recipients from within the system has been added to ROIA. This new feature allows generated reports to be emailed as attachments in any of three formats (csv, excel, or html). Using this feature advertiser and publishers can easily send the reports to each other and/or up to five additional recipients.
In addition to being able to manually email a report, ROIA also has the ability to automatically generate and send reports by email based on a predetermined schedule. Reports can be scheduled to be sent: a single time on a specific date, every X days, weekly on a specific day, or every month on a certain day. Scheduling reports based on the right timeframe makes it easier to see and share performance statistics as needed.
ROIA's reporting abilities have been updated to provide advertiser's with more comprehensive reports, giving them additional tools to better judge and improve the performance of their program. This update has added a new referring domains report and changed how the eCPC field is calculated in the other reports.
Referring domains report - A new report has been added to any accounts that have the Advanced Analytics add-on. This new report is available as a drill-down and will show the different performance of the domains that are referring traffic to your site. This new report improves ROIA's ability to help you determine where your referred traffic is coming from. For example, this report can be used with ROIA's drill-down ability to help determine where a publisher is placing creatives.
Effective CPC calculation change - The eCPC (effective CPC) column in the reporting has been updated to calculate the based on the total number of clicks instead of the unique number. So the new calculation is based on the commissions divided by the total number of clicks. This change has been made to better conform to industry standards.
ROIA was recently received an update that improved and added several new features.
The biggest change in this update was to the creative management features of ROIA. Creatives are now built based on customizable templates. This allows a much greater flexibility in the types of creatives that can be made.
ROIA now also has the ability for advertiser to see unconfirmed signup attempts. This gives the advertiser the ability to see the status of a signup attempt if contacted by a publisher having trouble confirming their signup.
Agency accounts have have been given extended controls over the access permissions of advertiser accounts. These controls allow the admin to determine what each advertiser is able to see and what they can edit within their account.
ROIA network accounts have been updated with a new feature that allows them to use one of several different commission models. These models are revenue sharing, publisher commission based, and the standard model. With these different commission models the network usage fee can be calculated based on the publishers commission settings.
For more information about these changes please contact our sales department.
ROIA has been updated with several new and improved features. These new features include the ability to set custom commissions for links, control of the fields in publisher profile, and optimized reporting.
The ability to have per link custom commissions in ROIA has been added. This feature is part of the Advanced Links package. By using this new feature, an advertiser can now set a custom commission rate for when a link is used or for when it is used by a specific publisher. Once the custom rate has been set, the publisher's commissions will be calculated based on these custom rates whenever commissions are earned through that link. Using this fine grained control allows the advertiser to offer a special rate when publishers refer people to a specific page, like a certain product on their site.
ROIA's publisher signup form comes with several default fields. Advertisers now have the ability to choose which of these fields they want to require or have as optional fields. Any fields that are marked optional will appear on the signup form but do not have to be completed for the form to be submitted.
Another update that has been implemented in ROIA was optimizing the reporting. This optimization will increase the speed in which reports are generated and many other tasks can be completed by ROIA.
TrackingSoft is pleased to announce the newest feature of ROIAdvantage, Data Feeds. Data Feeds allow advertisers the ability to keep their affiliates updated about new pages, products, articles, image links, etc on their website. Advertisers can use this feature by uploading a CSV file that can contain numerous links to any resource on their website. These files can also contain the names, descriptions, and any other text fields you want to be associated with each link.
All an advertiser has to do to make a Data Feed is have a properly formatted CSV file and complete the short creation wizard. After the Data Feed has been created, ROIA automatically replaces each link in the Data Feed with a personalized affiliate tracking link.
Once the Data Feed is created, an affiliate can access the links inside of ROIA or by downloading a CSV file. The Data Feed can then be incorporated with a script into the affiliate's website to allow dynamic updating of their website's contents.
Whether an advertiser wants to notify their affiliates about new products or just create a large number of links quickly, Data Feeds can help get these tasks done in a few quick and simple steps.
